How We Grade Xbox One Consoles

How We Refurbish Xbox One Consoles
Xbox One consoles have large cooling fans that suck a lot of air through hundreds of small holes to keep the console cool. While efficient, it also causes a lot of dust build up internally.

Considering that most of the Xbox One consoles have never been serviced, its important to buy a console that's been cleaned and serviced. Here's how we do it:
Phase 1: Cleaning and Checks
Since Xbox One consoles are prone to dust build up, we begin by removing the external covers to clear out all the dust and ensure the cooling vents are clear.

We also replace the thermal paste, ensuring the console cools properly without having to increase the fan speeds.
Phase 2: Stress Testing
With the console clean and cooling properly, we run multi stress tests, ensuring the internal hardware works 100% correctly.

During these tests we ensure the hard drive, GPU, cooling system, software, and power supply operate as normal without any glitches while running hardware demanding games.
Phase 3: Update and Reset
Once the hardware tests and cleaning are complete, we turn to the system software.

Before we fully updating and resetting the console, we rebuild the data base to ensure the system is in good working order without any bugs or glitches.
Phase 4: External Refurbish and Cleaning
The external covers are deep cleaned, removing any dirt that might have gotten stuck in cooling vents or covers.
